Andrea Rahman is a seasoned attorney with experience in government law, civil litigation, and appellate advocacy. Andrea began her career as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana. During her tenure at the Attorney General’s Office, Andrea handled a wide range of legal issues, including regulatory enforcement, employment disputes, constitutional law, and government liability. She argued before the Indiana Supreme Court and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, helping to establish key legal precedents, including a landmark decision on public access rights to Indiana’s Lake Michigan shoreline.
After 7 years working for the State of Indiana, Andrea transitioned to private practice for an Indianapolis law firm, where she represented clients in trust and estate administration, probate litigation, and business transactions. After her work in private practice, Andrea served as an Administrative Law Judge at the Office of Administrative Law Proceedings (OALP), hearing cases from various state agencies, including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Education. She was subsequently promoted to Deputy General Counsel at OALP, where she hired and trained ALJs.
In her law practice, Andrea applies her extensive legal experience to support her clients on a range of legal issues and transactional work, including business formation, contract drafting, and estate planning. Andrea is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of legal excellence in all aspects of her work.
